There are a few options for buying tickets to Sagrada Família: you can purchase them directly using the QR codes situated around the basilica or you can opt to buy the tickets online or on the app, which we highly recommend.

The best way to skip the line and avoid unnecessary long queues at the basilica is by paying for your tickets in advance and booking them online. Use the authorized Sagrada Família website or app, which is the official place to get these tickets.

It goes without saying that buying entrance tickets for Sagrada Família in person when you arrive there is the worst option available to tourists. Lines for getting tickets to Basílica de la Sagrada Família can take as long as two hours, which is several hours better spent seeing the city sights. Plus, who wants to stand about in the sun of summer or rain of winter for hours on end? Unless you spontaneously arrive outside La Sagrada Família and want to visit, this is an option best avoided. Getting last minute tickets is also next to impossible during high season when tickets sell out quick.

As soon as you figure out where to buy Sagrada Familia tickets, you need to figure out which experience is best for you. A basic ticket, the cheapest option, will get you into the basilica and nothing more. There are separate tickets for visits with audio guides, access to the towers and more.

PRO TIP: If you are not sure which day you are going to go, but would like to book the spot, you can do it through GetYourGuide, a truster reseller. The ticket is a bit more expensive, but they have a full refund policy up to 24h in advance, no questions asked.

The getyourguide tour is a skip-the-line ticket and offers you a live tour with an experienced guide, which will be more detailed than the audioguide offered by Sagrada Familia. The tower for the getyourguide one will be choosen depending on the day and the construction works.

3) This is correct. You first order the Barcelona City Pass and make the payment. After that you will receive an email with a link, to choose your visiting hours for Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. Once you have decided and confirmed your visiting times, you will receive all the tickets by email (aerobus, hop on hop off, sagrada, etc)

I think once you booked your ticket without the audioguide and entered the basilica, you cannot change your mind and pay extra for the audioguide inside, which is a pity! But yeah, it was great to get more information about this masterpiece!

A. Not all skip-the-line tickets include a guided tour. You could opt for the basic skip-the-line ticket, which would allow you to explore at your pace. At a slight premium, you could opt for the ticket with an audio or in-person guide.

This ticket includes the preferred admission, which also lets you rush past the waiting crowd very quickly. You can also use this ticket to go up to the Nativity Tower. (The advantages and disadvantages of the tower can be found in the previous paragraph). From this tower, you can admire the eastern part of Barcelona.

While tickets to the Sagrada Familia are available at the ticket office, located just outside the basilica, there are three main advantages to buying tickets online in advance:1. Safes you time: buying your ticket online will allow you to skip the line at the ticket office which are usually very long.

There are various ticket options available. The basic ticket, which is the cheapest option, will grant you access to the basilica and the museum. While other ticket options allow you to include an audio guide, and/or access to the towers. You must decide on these add-ons in advance since they cannot be purchased once you are within the Sagrada Familia.

The Gaudi Bundle is a combo ticket which provides skip-the-line access to the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Also included in the ticket is an audio guide and a return ticket for the bus from Alfons X metro station to Park Guëll.

Thanks, now I do not feel like the lone ranger. My wife tried. She was able to get past the pay selection a couple of times for time slots that were outside our schedule. She did know which time slots we needed at first! Darn! Tried for those time slots, no luck. Also she tried to duplicate those earlier attempts. Could not repeat it. Something is not coded correctly for the telephone field. The previous posters said that they got their tickets a month ago. Someone changed the programing between now and then. I sent them an email last TUE, have not gotten a response.

We have been having the same problem all week and our email is a .com. I finally contacted my hotel and they are purchasing tickets for me at a minimal charge. I was unable to get a ticket with a private guide, which is what I wanted. but at least I am getting tickets. We have tried several different computers and several different browsers. Nothing worked. So frustrating.

In the 50s, construction was back on track. Since then things have sped up due to breakthroughs in technology and of course, more funding due to ticketed entry fees. The halfway mark was declared in 2010, which is the same year that the church was officially consecrated by Pope Benedict XVI, who then proclaimed it a basilica.

More than 4,5 million people visited La Sagrada Familia in 2016 making it one of the most visited attractions in Spain. This implies that buying tickets at the door is a time-consuming process. Skip the line by buying tickets online! A lovely one-liner and absolutely true. As well as the basic ticket, there are tickets for guided tours, audio tours and a ticket which gives access to the towers. Searching on Google for 'Sagrada Familia Tickets' will provide a long list with all different tickets and providers. This article lists all the providers and their prices for the different tickets. We will also show you the way to visit the Sagrada Familia for free and give some background information about the Sagrada Familia.

The top views ticket could be considered as a basic ticket with an audio guide and the privilege to visit one of the towers to have an amazing view over the city. It depends on the amount of people which tower you will be able to visit. Nevertheless will each tower provide an unique view. It is recommended to check out which towers you could visit before booking the ticket itself.

La Sagrada Familia is a basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí. The full name is Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, which means Basilica and Temple Expiatori of the Sagrada Família. La Sagrada Familia is still in progress despite the fact that the construction began in 1882. The financing depends on donations, but nowadays money is generated through entrance tickets as well. Because of the duration some parts had to be renovated, while others still need to be created. La Sagrada Familia should be finished in 2026 (see video below), as currently more than 100 labourers work on it.

If you were thinking of doing the visits on your own, it would be advisable to check the schedule of the Sagrada Familia and the schedule of the Park Güell in order to be able to balance your time and control the time of the journeys between one place and the other. However, one of the advantages of this type of combined tickets is that the tour itself in which the access is included organizes the day for you.

You can buy it online or in person in Barcelona at various points of sale around the city. It is often sold at a discounted rate online. If you purchase it online, you just need to exchange the printed voucher (which will be emailed to you after purchase) for your Barcelona Art Passport at the ticket desk of any of the Articket art museums.

So for the Barcelona City Pass, you have a choice and need to select the Sagrada Familia option (the basic option, guided tour, tower + audioguide, etc.). The basic option is the least expensive (but the one with the least availability) and the other options are a bit more expensive. Similarly, you will need to choose whether you want to have the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus for 1 day or 2 days which will change the cost, with the 2 day ticket being more expensive. The Park Guell and airport transfer tickets are the same across the passes.

Some of the passses include some public transit, but not enough for your full trip of 7 nights in Barcelona. So you will probably need to add on this travel card which is valid for up to 120 hours (5 days). The cards can be used for the airport, but if you want to save the cards and not use them for your airport journeys, you can book the more direct shuttle bus tickets.

Hi Laura, Yes, while there are a few attractions in Barcelona that are free, many attractions have a fee and the admission prices can really add up. For those who want to visit 4-5 or more attractions, a pass will generally save them money. A pass can also save time as you can often skip the ticket lines or get fast-track entry at some places, and some of the passes include public transportation and/or a hop-on, hop-off bus ticket which can help make transit around the city easier. Best, Jessica

If you like practical passes that combine tickets and transport, the City Pass may be interesting for you! This pass includes fast-track tickets for the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell, a ticket for the tourist bus and another for the Aerobus,a special bus service which runs between Barcelona airport and the city centre. It0s a very interesting pass if we also take advantage of the discounts that it offers for many other visits and activities in Barcelona.

One way to book tickets is through the official website, which generally is the least expensive option. However, third-party services also sell advance tickets and may have additional time slots available. For a guided tour and access to the towers, third-party options sometimes can be slightly cheaper than the official website, too. 041b061a72
