Can regular players ever match whale benefits?
Sometimes I wonder if there's even a point in trying to grind rewards or loyalty perks anymore when whales get instant access to everything. I play regularly, spend a little here and there, but no way I can compete with someone dropping thousands. It really depends on the game. Some developers still try to reward long-term play — like giving special titles or access to content that money can’t buy. But those are rare. Most platforms build their systems around monetization now. I get it from a business angle, but it’s definitely demotivating when your time and consistency are worth less than someone’s weekend budget.
